Buyer - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Act as customer service liaison for suppliers to maintain accurate due dates for open purchase orders. Purchase materials and other Non-Inventory requisitioned materials. Facilitate return of discrepant material to assigned suppliers and communication of non-conformances. Manage and plan purchased parts and launch PO's, ensure timely supplier delivery of ordered partsand resolve issues related to parts & suppliers. Compliance to all applicable purchasing procedures. Maintain accurate supplier files. Monitor inventory levels to ensure that they are consistent with department goals. Coordinate material non-conformance resolutions with suppliers.
Requirements: 1-3 years of experience working within purchasing as Buyer in ISO-9001or ISO-13485 registered manufacturing company, preferred. AA/AS or equivalent experience. Familiarity with utilizing automated ERP systems and databases. Ability to use goodjudgement. Excellent verbal and written communication. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
