Assistant Construction Project Manager - Direct Hire

Responsibilities: Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids. Maintain cost ledger and job cost estimates and statements. Develop project schedules. Assist with developing, preparing and disseminating documents, correspondence and required materials. Monitor construction contract close-outs and maintain documentation files. Ensure County requirements are met for construction projects. Monitor contract overall dollar value and ensure contracts do it is not exceed contract amounts. Prepare, send out, receive bids/proposals, review bids and assist in determination of lowest responsible bidder.
Requirements: Associate's degree; 2-3 years of construction experience or construction business management certification; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be computer literateand able to use Microsoft Office's word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications. Proficient in Prolog-Construction/Project management software, Share Point, and Adobe PDF full version preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
