Accounts Payable Clerk

Responsibilities: Appropriately disburse vendor invoices for approval. Code vendor invoices as fitting to the general ledger. Enter vouchers into the Accounting System. Process weekly check run and Process out of cycle checks as needed. Enter related journal entries and reconcile associated general ledger accounts. Answer and Process Incoming Customer Calls and Customer Service Overflow Requires. Create Spreadsheets and Maneuver Data using Microsoft Excel. Support Accounting Supervisor and Controllerin Maintaining Accurate General Ledger Accounts in accordance with GAAP standards.
Requirements: Minimum (2) two years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required. High school diploma or equivalent required; college or related business school highly desirable. Knowledge of accounts payable terminology and programs. Proficiency required in MS Office 2010 or greater. Intermediate Excel skills required. Demonstrable problem solving and time management skills. Must be comfortable with multi-tasking and working under minimum supervision.
