Responsibilities: Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Report to management regarding the finances of establishment. Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts. Advise in areas such as compensation, employee health care benefits, and the design of accounting or data processing systems. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Oversee, direct and evaluate Accounts Payable, Payroll and Staff Accountants. Analyze and report cost variances. Review appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations. Coordinate and prepare monthly financial statements. Hire, train, supervise and retain competent accounting staff. Provide oversight for the year-end inventory count, compiling results for reporting.
Requirements: Minimum three years' in Finance or Accounting including supervisory experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements and reporting. Excellent time management and complex problem solving ability.
