Accounting Specialist with Paycom Payroll Experience
Responsibilities: Process daily cash receipts including data entry, preparation and reconciliation of bank deposit, and journal entries. Will handle all aspects of accounts payable including check requests, check writing, distribution and filing. Process monthly credit card reconciliation for all staff members. Process the semi-monthly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees. Respond and process payroll requests and inquires (i.E. Manual checks, payroll reports). Reconcile and audit payroll processing in Paycom. Provide customer service on inquiries about payroll. Maintain confidentiality and discretion with information related to employees, managers and department operations, without exception. Other duties as needed.
Requirements: Two years' experience working in a non-profit accounting environment. A minimum of two years' experience with the processing payroll in Paycom. Competency in using accounting software, e.G. Solomon, Mas90, Avila, or Great Plains. Knowledge of basic payroll best practices and employment law relating to payroll processing. Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail and deadline driven Ability to work and cooperate as a team member with all levels within the organization.
