Responsibilities: Compile and review source documents such as invoices or cash receipts for completeness and accuracy. Verify and post details of business transactions to appropriate ledgers and journals. File and maintain clerical records or reports relating to accounting. Mail A/P checks and customer invoices. Reconcile accounts monthly. Deposit daily checks. Serve as back up for AP. Complete special projects as assigned.
Requirements: High School Diploma required; College level Accounting degree preferred. 2 years' experience working in an Accounting department or office setting doing related A/P work. Familiarity with accounting concepts. Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and Word. High attention to detail and able to produce accurate work. Strong problem solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and a positive, team player.
