Accounting Manager - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Reviews daily activities of theaccounting staff and provides support and assistance where necessary. Perform and supervise accounting activities such as maintaining the general ledger, reconcile accounts, and process month end close. Perform auditing functionsand complete other financial forms and reports. Ensures all journal entries are reasonable and decisions are supported by generally accepted accounting principles. Reviews financial statement results, conducts analysis and research. Reconciles and maintains schedule of purchase order clearing account. Reviews petty cash by recording entry; verifying documentation. Prepares all accounting entries for projects and fixed assets. Reconciles and maintains capitalized expense and fixed asset accounts. Assists with Inventory accounting; including reconciliations and adjustments.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 5+years of experience in full cycle accounting role. Exceptional attention to detail, excellent written and verbal skills, as well as excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel proficiency. Candidates must completed assessment testing. Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Desire to continuously improve and a positive, "can-do" approach.
