A premier employer in the Sacramento region is in need of a Senior Compensation Analyst to join their growing team.The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate with Executives regarding complex compensation projects. The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible to review policies and procedures; collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and statistics in the development, planning and execution of compensation strategies and guiding principles.

Responsibilities: Designs effective compensation programs to address system/operating unit/affiliate business needs and objectives. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the compensation strategy based on changing market conditions, and recommends response to change. Recommends special compensation, and/or incentive programs designed to support employee recruitment and retention. Serves as a consultant to executives, management, human resources, and recruitment and provides advice, guidance and training regarding compensation guiding principles, application strategy, refinement, and interpretation. Monitors industry salary trends, employment conditions, compensation best practices, and the analysis of survey data to establish and maintain equitable pay grades and competitive salary structures and ranges. Develops insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly and concisely communicate analysis findings and compensation recommendations. Acts as the project leader on multifaceted compensation projects that involve complexanalysis of large data sets to deliver comprehensive recommendations and solutions.

Requirements: 6+years' experience as a seasoned compensation professional. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration. Progressively responsible experience designing and developing compensation, incentive, and recognition programs. Demonstrated strategic program development and implementation in close partnership with HR Business Partners. Excellent communication and ability to influence and build consensus with key stakeholders. Sometravel required.
