Do you want to work with one of the Sacramento area premium employers? One of our clients is currently seeking an experienced Financial Analyst with a Real Estate background to join their Finance and Accounting team. The Real Estate Financial Analyst performs various financial related analysis, reporting and validation of Real Estate Leaseobligations, as well as financial reporting for Real Estate owned assets. This position works independently, yet collaboratively with the Lease Administration Supervisor and department in the administration of all financial reporting aspects for the organization's real estate portfolio. This is a full time, contract opportunity.

Responsibilities: Creates and submit journal entries for accurate posting of Lease income, Lease expense and inter-affiliate Lease expense payments. Conducts financial review of property level accounts receivableand accounts payable. Assists in the preparation of property operating budgets; including five year capital plans. Assists Lease Administrators in tracking tenant improvement allowances, Lease Security Deposits, and performing advanced account reconciliations. Recommends action to keep overall FPS Asset Management on budget. Reviews, Audits, and Codes Landlord Common Area Expense ("CAM") Reconciliation billings. Assists in the maintenance and preparation of fixed asset schedules for real estate assets, document sale and purchase transactions, and verify lease straight line and other amortization schedule accuracy. Coordinates with Lease and Asset Management leaders to publish quarterly operating, capital and budget vs actual reports.

Requirements: BS in Accountancy or Finance. 5 years of experience preparing and analyzing financial reporting in a real estate propertyenvironment. Prior experience in financial analysis, budgeting & budgeting techniques. Proficiency in lease management database and real estate accounting systems preferred (Yardi, Harbor Flex, CoStar, MRI, etc.) Experiencewith Lawson strongly desired. Prior experience with property operating budgets, and CAM expenses. Advanced skills in MS Office. Strong organization and time management. Excellent communication skills.
