Responsibilities: Processes purchase order confirmations, escalates backorders and price discrepancies as necessary. Assists customers by routing their requisitions or inquiries to the service line buyer. Serves as the primary clerical resources for the purchasing staff with an emphasis on data entry, online receiving and verification. Monitors and maintains the department's shared mailbox and fax. Provides Online Requisition support to Requestors and Approvers. Performs Customer Service duties, including receiving, responding, triaging, and closing incoming Purchasing service requests; creates and closes tickets.
Requirements: 2+ years' experience working in the healthcare industry in purchasing or logistics. High School diploma required. AA/AS is desired. Comfortable working in an office support/data entry role. Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Awareness of contract terms/language a plus. Strong attention to detail. Proven ability to assess problems and resolve or escalate to appropriate team to resolve. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
