Office Manager - Direct Hire
Sacramento, CA | Direct Hire Position
Responsibilities: Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments. Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement. ProvideS effective leadership, coaching, counseling, evaluating, and mentoring of staff. ReadS and understandS detailed written information pertaining to the licensing and registration of motor vehicles and vesselssuch as, but not limited to: Vehicle titles, manuals, memos, containing law changes, court, Documents, accident reports, vision reports, and medical reports. Learn, apply, interpret, and explain provisions of governmental rulesand departmental procedures and policies.
Requirements: At least 5 or more years of related work experience in operational management. DOJ Fingerprint and criminal record clearance by the State of California are conditions of employment, required for appointment to this job position. Must be able to obtain a Surety Bond in compliance with State regulations. Excellent communication skills; written and verbal. Strong organizational skills; flexible and able to prioritize multiple tasks. Influencer (active listener/observer of behavior; builds trust with those requiring coaching; creates a win/win need for change; tailors coaching style to the individual's needs). Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Required education: Bachelor's degree.
