We are seeking an Office Manager with an AP and AR background to join a small office team in the Elk Grove area. The ideal candidate will have an office administration background, strong attention to detail and ability to perform light accounting responsibilities (AP and AR in QuickBooks). This is a Monday-Friday, direct hire opportunity!

Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day internal operations of a small office. Responsible for invoicing through QuickBooks Online, bookkeeping and coordination with outside CPA on general accounting. Create and maintain detailed client budgets and ledgers for client campaigns. Troubleshoot and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank account reconciliation, credit card entries, client billable expenses and collection. Serve as Liaison with CPA to ensure they have accurate data to finalize year-end tax documentation for corporate taxes including 1099s. Oversee and maintain personnel files. Manage and facilitate onboarding processand new hire orientation. Manage and process employee benefits and health insurance, annual enrollment, terminations, disability, EDD and other state agency requests.Ensure record-keeping accuracy and oversee data management policies and procedures. Oversee insurance, risk management, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Serve as liaison between staff and IT in providing assistance with technology hardware and software needs.

Requirements: Minimum of 3 years' experience as Office Manager or similar position responsible for bookkeeping and human resources. Experience using QuickBooks Premier Contractor Edition 2015. Extremely organized and proactive self-starter.Experience with prevailing wages. Able to maintain composure under pressure and deadlines in a cyclical high demand environment. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and good judgmentin making decisions. Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship building skills. Flexible and adaptable to challenges and changes with the ability to prioritize workload. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Excel. Technically savvy.

Pay: $17-$20/hour DOE.
