A small but successful consulting firm in the Gold River area is in need of a versatile Office Administrator with accounting, human resources and payroll experience to join their team. The Office Administrator will process payroll for internal employees and support daily human resources, operational and accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have experience processing in-house payroll, knowledge with HR laws, and have supervised staff. Thisis full time, direct hire opportunity that offers strong growth potential.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicate policies, procedures, and programs to employees. Support with recruitment, staffing and on-boarding processes. Draft disciplinary actions as needed, witness actions, process final pay and termination paperwork, and perform the exit process. Act as the first point of contact for all employee relations issues. Administer the performance review process and provide coaching and effective feedback. Communicates key HR information to employees, such as new hire, benefits, etc. Processes bi-weekly payroll for all employees; performs complex payrollcalculations. Calculate, update, and maintain employee-related information such as pay changes, retroactive adjustments, tax withholding, corrections to pay, garnishments, reimbursements, and other related pay items. Otherduties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related administrative and accounting experience, including payroll processing skills. Familiarity with State, Federal and local employment regulations and requirements related to Human Resources including but not limited to EEO, ADA/FEHA, FMLA/CFRA, POL, Workers Compensation, and wage & hour. Ability to administer leave of absences, maintain 1-9 compliance, administer new hires, separations and other processes related regulatory requirements. Knowledge of compensation and benefits administration. Strong technical skills in the MS Office Suite and payroll/timekeeping systems.
