Not Your Average Accounting Manager Role - CPA - Stockton, CA
Stockton, California | Direct Hire Position
RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees the general fiscal processes and procedures including budget/expense monitoring, requests for payment, payroll, A/P, A/R, cost accounting, financial reporting and maintenance of the general ledger. Monitor and prepare monthly reports on actual revenues and expenditures against budgeted projections. Ensures compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. Generates timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Provides accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual projects.
SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field required and 3+ years of experience in accounting. CPA license is required. Able to work with highly sensitive and confidential material. Able to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization; committed to ongoing learning and improvement. Results-oriented, dependable, and accountable - natural gravitation toward ownership. Proven skills in communicating in a clear, concise, respectful, effective and professional manner verbally and orally.
