Medical Records Abstractor
Auburn, CA | Temporary Position
Responsibilities: Review medical records. Collect clinical information and enter the data into abstraction software. Prioritize and process information requests. Access medical data from a variety of sources, verify information and document into online database. Maintain security and confidentiality of medical records and PHI.
Requirements: 2+ years' experience working with electronic files. High school degree or equivalent required. Proficient in medical terminology. Proven ability to work in a team environment. Ability to classify information by record section, chartnotes, lab, radiology. Aptitude to read fast while gathering specific data. High attention to detail and ability tomeet accuracy standards. Data Extraction experience a plus.
