Medical Office Manager-DIRECT HIRE

A busy medical office in Sacramento is looking for a responsible Office Manager to restructure the office and make changes. Minimum of 5 years' experience in health care administration with 3 years in a clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze/interpret data, multi-task, prioritize and clearly communicate. Full time, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities: Establish and maintain new referral sources. Manage contracts, credentialing, and business marketing. Oversee HR related activities: recruiting, hiring, training staff (clinical and administrative), create job descriptions, and implement office policies and procedures. Set staff schedule, approve employee time off and process time cards. Oversee and manage patient flow. Administrative support activities including billing; negotiating liens, approving accounts for collections, and allocating monthly procedure counts and collections. Responsible for managing petty cash, writing office checks, and approving bills and invoices for payment. Establish and manage all business accounts and vendors; order office supplies and equipment. Coordinate all staff meetings (daily morning huddles, weekly staff meetings, and events). Actively search for ways to streamline efficiency of office systems.

Requirements: 5 years' experience in healthcare administration. Ability to work independently and as a team leader to achieve established goals. Strong interpersonal skills; developing constructive and cooperative working relationships and demonstrating professionalism. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deal with difficult situations such as high-level patient service issues and discussions with insurance companies. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and complete tasks both efficiently and independently with a high degree of accuracy in a time sensitive environment.
