We are recruiting for a self-driven Manufacturing Logistics & Procurement Specialist who thrives in driving results within a highly collaborative production environment. The Manufcturing Logistics & Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing effective operations of planning and on-time delivery. This role is an integral member of the materials planning team working closely with customer service, production and quality control. Effective partnerships with other departments and vendors is key to the success in this role.

Responsibilities: Responsible for driving results of inventory to attain target levels, demand forecasting, purchase orders, on-time deliveries, service levels including fill rates, backorders, inventory turns and inventory levels. Reviews variance reports to determine root cause. Works closely and proactively with production planning, customer service department to establish and maintain inventory levels that support on time delivery schedule. Investigates and resolves negative Inventory conditions or other system irregularities. Audits processes and/or transactions that affect inventory to ensure proper execution and recordkeeping. Develops procedures and trains appropriate parties to ensure support inventory management and control objectives. Inputs andprocesses daily production transactions to maintain and reflect proper inventory levels. Oversees daily meetings with production and customer service to validate the production schedule, status of open work orders, establish priorities and resolve bottlenecks and conflicts. Prepares and provides inventory and vendor performance reports weekly, monthly and annually.

Skills: 5+ years' specialist or analyst level experience in Manufacturing Inventory and Production Planning. Bachelor's degree in a business or related. Bilingual Spanish required. Highly proficient with MS Office and MRP/ERP software in the areas of production planning, scheduling andinventory maintenance. Strong statistical and negotiation skills with a customer oriented attitude. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects and troubleshoot issues in a diplomatic manner.
