Inventory Control Specialist-Direct Hire
Woodland, CA | Direct Hire Position
Responsibilities: Ensure that all arriving stock receipts are efficiently and carefully executed. Participate in an ongoing basis in routine inventory cycle counts. Help preparefor and take part in all physical inventories as scheduled by the company. Assist with inventory maintenance and merchandising reports. Continually improve processes and streamline merchandise transfers. Receive replenishments, process, unpack, and organize shipments, and manage all special merchandise requests. Work with multiple departments to process merchandise returns and acknowledge receipt of shipments. Communicate with fulfillment center any discrepancies or quality issues discovered during both the receiving and auditing of merchandise. Improve data integrity results quarter over quarter. Accounting and reporting of inventory surplus, product returns, and any damages. Maintain stockroom organization.
Requirements: 1-2 years' of inventory experience or office experience with a focus on data entry. High School diploma required; college degree preferred.Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel. Ability to work with multiple variables and know how to optimize solutions. Outstanding time management skills and a high-level attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent math skills and a logical thinker. Familiarity with computerized and manual inventory practices. Knowledge of shipping/receiving practices. Flexibility to work in both an office and warehouseenvironment.
