Interim Accounting Manager
Sacramento, CA | Direct Hire Position
Responsibilities: Drive business partnerships with multiple operating units and lead the strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Use collaborative nature to effectively manage intercompany communications and transactions with various departments, management, and the parent company to enable the continuous success of the company as a whole. Oversees the general fiscal processes and procedures including budget/expense monitoring, requests for payment, payroll, A/P, A/R, cost accounting, financial reporting and maintenance of the general ledger. Ensures compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. Generates timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Provides accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual projects.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field required and 5-7 years of experience in complex accounting. Current CPA license. Possess a strong working knowledge of G.A.A.P. Proven experience managing a finance/accounting team. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to effectively manage time, interpersonal relationships, resources, and information. Proven skills in communicating in a clear, concise, respectful, effective and professional manner verbally and orally.
