Human Resources Specialist - Direct Hire

Responsibilities: Source, screen, schedule and recommend applicants for open positions using e-recruitment tool. Prepare offer requests and offer letters and administer pre-employment process (background and reference checks, drug screens, etc.). Assist in new employee orientation preparations. Process new hire paperwork and new hire orientation training records. Facilitate termination process including preparing termination paperwork and notifications of termination. Assist with immigration process and administer travel visas. Administer time and attendance system: report employee data changes, review/approve of time records in accordance with wage and hour laws and approve payroll for processing. Respond to requests for employment verifications and employee requests regarding the same. Assist in the planning and coordination of employee events. Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from database. Administer unemployment claims, leaves of absences, and workers' compensation in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Administer online training record system. Coordinate benefit open enrollment, 401K meetings and onsite health fairs. Administer tuition reimbursement program.
Requirements: 2-4 years' experience in an HR support or administrative role. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field. Exceptional writtencommunication and business writing skills. Experience with e-recruitment tool desired. Attention to detail and strong organization skills. Warm personality with excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
