We are recruiting on a fantastic new position for our client in Folsom, CA who is in need of a Human Resources Generalist. This is a direct hire opportunity with an innovative and fun organization. This position reports to a bright and dynamic human resources leader and will provide administrative, transactional and employee relations support. The HR Generalist ensures processes and documentation are maintained and in compliance with best practicesas well as all pertinent laws and regulations.

Responsibilities: Process new hire and employment status change data and recording. Establish and maintain data entry, storage and retrieval processes and systems. Review and analyze systems, processes, tools, resources and data for the purposes of improving business outcomes via cost savings, process improvements and compliance. Perform research, analysis, reports and recommendations. Provide clarification and facilitate solutions to employee and leadership challenges. Conduct internal investigations and related reports. Actively cultivate and promote high employee engagement. Initiate, plan and implement special projects and events, trainings and meetings. Coach Managers and employees re: best practices in HR and employee relations. Track and manage employee leaves and worker's compensation claim process. Draft and disseminate employee communications. Provide Manager guidance and support for performance management and disciplinary actions.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of HR Generalist experience. Bachelor's Degree in business/HR or related field. PHR Certification. Knowledge of US and CA employment laws, regulations and best practices. Best Practices of performance management and disciplinary actions. Positive and effective communication and problem solving skills. Critical thinker who is organized, has strong attention to detail and able to prioritize. Knowledge of Employee and Manager coaching strategies. Intermediate MS Office Suite. Excellent businesscommunication both verbally and in writing. Ability to remain calm, poised and professional in stressful situations.

Salary: $65, 000.
