Human Resources Director- Direct Hire

Responsibilities: Manages and provides direction for HR Staff. Manages and implements strategic HR projects and initiatives. Analyzes training and development needs and lead the development and administration of training programs. Leads in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals. Counsels Managersand employees consistent with company policies/practices, legal considerations, etc. And facilitates resolution of employee relations issues. Rolls out and drives corporate programs (i.E. Team building, Community Service efforts, etc.). Partners with Management team to develop and implement appropriate organizational and people strategies and solutions that align with the business objectives and delivers results. Ensures fair and consistent application of company policies, practices and procedures that create and maintain a positive employee relations environment, drive business results and help create and sustain the desired culture.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Business, Management or Human Resources. PHR / SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification preferred. A minimum of ten years Human Resources management experience required. Experience in manufacturing environment with 200+ employees preferred. Previous management of HR division required. Must be able to travel between all CA facilities routinely and as needed up to 25% of the time.
