Human Resources Business Partner- Direct Hire

Responsibilities: Partner with leaders, team members, and other HR to provide leadership and focused support in: employee engagement, coaching and performance management, resolution of issues, employee development and retention strategies and careerdevelopment. Contribute to the business strategy by partnering with business leaders to identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities. Partner with leaders to drive organizational planning and performance. Maintain knowledge of employment law. Leverage the use of tools/knowledge/informational sources to identify business trends and ensure appropriate solutions are in place to support the business. Coach Managers on employee relations documentation.
Requirements: 7+ years in generalist experience. Bachelor's degree. Knowledge of US and CA state employment laws. Strong, developing business acumen. Knowledge of HR compliance and process, but able to adapt and customize to our client's environment. Ability to be flexible and possess a high tolerance for ambiguity. Excellent consulting skills/ability to prioritize. Strong conflict management skills. Ability to design and execute HR programs that meet business partner needs. Prefer both small and large company experience. PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
