Job Description
We are recruiting a Financial Analyst for a thriving Real Estate and Construction company in Roseville. Our client offers competitive benefits and a chance to join a dynamic finance team. The Financial Analyst will report to the VP of Accounting and this position has a hybrid schedule after training is complete (1 day a week work from home). Salary: $80,000-$85,000 DOE.
The qualified candidate will be a forward thinker with strong excel skills, data trending, accounting analysis, reporting, and project management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with team members to calculate cash flow distributions to partners based on each partner's priority interest and the terms of the relevant agreements.
Prepare schedules for all properties detailing partner and affiliate-related receivables, debt, and partner fees.
Conduct internal audits for the portfolio and prepare audit findings reports with recommendations for improvement.
Prepare quarterly forecasting reports, investor reports, monthly/quarterly variance reports, external financial reports, and financial analyses.
Generate reports for shareholders, LP investors, affiliates, and other third parties.
Prepare and submit periodic reports for HCD and CalHFA.
Maintain debt schedules and track developer notes.
Prepare and distribute quarterly reporting packages for LP investors, affiliates, and other third parties.
Create and maintain monthly reports for market rate investors.
Perform annual analysis comparing actual results to pro forma projections and present findings to the leadership team.
Provide analytical support to the department as needed.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Five years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Increasingly responsible experience in budgetary analysis and complex accounting procedures.
CPA preferred.
Proficiency with accounting software; PowerBI preferred.
Advanced skills in Excel.
Proficiency in Outlook.
Experience with Yardi is a plus.
