Facilities and Safety Manager - Direct Hire
Sacramento, California | Direct Hire Position
RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with site staff and Regional and District managers to ensure properties are prepared for physical inspections. Monitor vendor work progress and inspecting completions. Prepare and finalize all reserve requests with RD, HUD, HCD and Owners. Prepare annual 10 year plans for each property and ensure work outlined in the 10 year plan is completed. In the event of insurance claim, work with property, agent, RD, and vendors to remediate issue and ensure claim is resolved. Communicate with staff/regionals regarding accidents and provide support and direction regarding accident investigation. Coordinate the bidding process for the Transition Plans. Review and the transition plan and develop a plan of action with the RM, DM and site staff. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret property documents, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be service-oriented, able to accomplish directives with minimal supervision and follow-up. Planning and organizational skills as well as excellent attention to detail required. Working knowledge of cash and accrual accounting principles for property management Team players with excellent analytical ability and a proactive approach.
