Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Donations Program Coordinator to join the philanthropic department of a nonprofit organization near the Vacaville area. The Donations Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the donations program and providing administrative support for board meetings and other organizational needs. This is a 6–12-month contract with the possibility of permanent employment. Pay: $23-26/hr., DOE.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive donations strategy that aligns with our organization's mission and goals.
- Coordinate donation drives and campaigns, both online and offline, to solicit funds, goods, and services.
- Maintain donor records and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Build and nurture relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and philanthropic organizations.
- Manage and track incoming donations, providing timely acknowledgment and tax receipts to donors.
- Plan and execute donor engagement events and activities to cultivate and steward supporters.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content that inspires donations and showcases the impact of our work.
- Generate reports on donations and donor engagement to provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in scheduling, preparing for, and documenting board meetings, including taking minutes and tracking action items.
- Prepare and edit memos, letters, and other documents for the board and executive team.
- Handle filing, organization, and maintenance of important documents and records.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring prompt and accurate distribution.
- Support holiday gift drives and other organizational events as needed.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years’ experience in administrative support and meeting coordination.
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or a related role preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with donors and convey our mission effectively.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. AA or Bachelor's degree in progress preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be available for an immediate start.
- Successful completion of a fingerprint background check required.
