Responsibilities: Analyze internal and external job data to include job benchmarks, job classifications; market data and salary survey. Assess currentcompensation and ranges to identify potential compression between staff and supervisors. Develop recommendations toaddress identified issues and work with HR Center of Expertise and/or Business Partner to implement appropriate changes. Present recommendations to hiring managers and HR Business Partners and escalate for reviews. Administer base pay for across the board increases and coordinate closely with the HR Data and Reporting Team to implement changes to step and grade tables. Administer and audit base pay and incentive pay to ensure compliance. Prepare thorough and accurate reports, analysis and recommendations. Write competitive market analyses presenting data, interpretations, and recommendations; market analysis includes but is not limited to: environmental scans, demographics, labor market, and wage grid analysis. Recommend changes as needed on differentials, incentive pay, revising the step program, experience crediting, and other policies and practices that affect recruitment, retention, or impact negotiations and may draft associated presentation materials.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration. 5 years' experience developing, implementing or administering compensation programs. Strong knowledge of HR related Federal, State and local laws and regulations governing compensation including Wage and Hour law. Experience with job evaluation/point factor systems. Must be familiar with national labor market trends and the execution of effective processes to support compensation strategies. Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
