Accounting Coordinator - Part Time

RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitates Rep Payee services and Trust Banking services. Prepares and validates payroll. Enters A/P batches weekly into accounting software. Monitors members served eligibility at admission/enrollment and monthly. Prepares and reviews credit card entries, records and deposits cash receipts. Organizes, secures, and maintains all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. Performs insurance verification. Provides support and direction for financial requests for staff and members served. Provides training and directionto ensure compliance with Fiscal policies and procedures. Reviews and analyzes financial reports, monitors adherence to budget, determines monthly journal entries required, and confirms or corrects information on reports. Provides and maintains revenue information, provides billing information to A/P department and county agencies. Acts as point of contact between program and IT department for maintenance of phones, computers, hardware, and software. Follows up on outstanding members served receivables and negotiates payment terms with members served andpayees for outstanding receivables. Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS:Experience in general accountingas typically acquired in three or more years. Proven analytical and problem solving skills. Strong skills and working knowledge with Microsoft Excel. Experience in Healthcare field highly desired.
